Cultural Marxism

“In my study of communist societies, I came to the conclusion that the purpose of communist propaganda was not to persuade or convince, not to inform, but to humiliate; and therefore, the less it corresponded to reality the better. When people are forced to remain silent when they are being told the most obvious lies, or even worse when they are forced to repeat the lies themselves, they lose once and for all their sense of probity. To assent to obvious lies is...in some small way to become evil oneself. One's standing to resist anything is thus eroded, and even destroyed. A society of emasculated liars is easy to control. I think if you examine political correctness, it has the same effect and is intended to.”
― Theodore Dalrymple

Joseph so are you a fan of Anthony Malcolm Daniels ? He is a conservative but not one to put people down . When you read his quote that you posted .It is about lying to the masses and it sounds a lot like what President Trump is doing everyday to the American People. I would love to talk about his beliefs but you can not do that here. The reason is so simple . When you have people like specialties post stuff that is completely unrelated to what Anthony Malcolm Daniels aka Theodore Dalrymple believes in. When you read Dalrymple the more you see Trump in Putin's pocket. I just don't understand how conservatives can stay quiet about Trump. I only thing I can believe is that the GOP believes anything that they can pass he will sign into law. I believe comprise is the only way to govern but there many in the GOP do not want to govern . This might lead to a Blue Wave in 2018 and we will not be any better off. Remember it was the uneducated white people that put Putin's puppet Trump into the White House.

 Pot!!!

Is that like an 'opiate'?? Recall what your great granddaddy komrade karl did for the 'masses'... He through Stalin killed how many 10s of millions of protestants...
Then just to prove it all plowed their churches in to the ground...

Does Fr. Walsh know that you hang out here??
Orthodox Marxism is the body of Marxist thought that emerged after the death of Karl Marx (1818–1883) and which became the official philosophy of the socialist movement as represented in the Second International until the First World War in 1914. Orthodox Marxism aims to simplify, codify and systematize Marxist method and theory by clarifying the perceived ambiguities and contradictions of classical Marxism.

The philosophy of orthodox Marxism includes the understanding that material development (advances in technology in the productive forces) is the primary agent of change in the structure of society and of human social relations and that social systems and their relations (e.g. feudalism, capitalism, etc.) become contradictory and inefficient as the productive forces develop, which results in some form of social revolution arising in response to the mounting contradictions. This revolutionary change is the vehicle for fundamental society-wide changes and ultimately leads to the emergence of new economic systems.[1]
You even use the same buzz words, TOOL... 'fundamentally change' USEFUL IDIOT...
In the time between 1927 and 1940, the number of Orthodox Churches in the Russian Republic fell from 29,584 to less than 500. Between 1917 and 1935, 130,000 Orthodox priests were arrested. Of these, 95,000 were put to death. Many thousands of victims of persecution became recognized in a special canon of saints ...
Throughout the history of the Soviet Union (1922–1991), there were periods where Soviet authorities suppressed and persecuted various forms of Christianity to different extents depending on State interests.[1] Soviet Marxist-Leninism policy consistently advocated the control, suppression, and ultimately, the elimination of religious beliefs, and actively encouraged atheism in the Soviet Union.[2] However, most religions were never officially outlawed.[1]

The state advocated the destruction of religion, and it officially pronounced religious beliefs to be superstitious and backward.[3][4] The Communist Party destroyed churches, mosques and Buddhist temples, ridiculed, harassed, incarcerated and executed religious leaders, flooded the schools and media with anti-religious teachings, and it introduced a belief system called "scientific atheism," with its own rituals, promises and proselytizers.[5][6] The total number of Christian victims under the Soviet regime has been estimated to range between 12-20 million.[7][8][9]

Religious beliefs and practices persisted among the majority of the population,[5] in the domestic and private spheres but also in the scattered public spaces allowed by a state that recognized its failure to eradicate religion and the political dangers of an unrelenting culture war.[3][10]
WOW, just like today, you kommie prick!!!
The Soviet regime had an ostensible commitment to the complete annihilation of religious institutions and ideas.[11] Communist ideology could not coexist with the continued influence of religion even as an independent institutional entity, so "Lenin demanded that communist propaganda must employ militancy and irreconcilability towards all forms of idealism and religion", and that was called "militant atheism". "Militant" meant an uncompromising attitude toward religion and the effort of winning the hearts and minds of believers from a false philosophy. Militant atheism became central to the ideology of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union and a high priority policy of all Soviet leaders.[4] Convinced atheists were considered to be more politically astute and virtuous individuals.[4][12]
The tactics varied over the years and became more moderate or more harsh at different times. Among common tactics included confiscating church property, ridiculing religion, harassing believers, and propagating atheism in the schools. Actions toward particular religions, however, were determined by State interests, and most organized religions were never outlawed.

Some actions against Orthodox priests and believers along with execution included torture, being sent to prison camps, labour camps or mental hospitals.[24][25][26][27] Many Orthodox (along with peoples of other faiths) were also subjected to psychological punishment or torture and mind control experimentation in order to force them to give up their religious convictions (see Punitive psychiatry in the Soviet Union).[25][26][28] During the first five years of Soviet power, the Bolsheviks executed 28 Russian Orthodox bishops and over 1,200 Russian Orthodox priests. Many others were imprisoned or exiled.[2]
You eat mud and bark at the moon, you foolish creep...

ie: Your ultimate hero's first official act was to kill 12,000 Christian Orthodox priests and deacons and the rest is most serious history...
How long have you been working for the proletariat now?? bobby marx...

Not to worry, your worst enemy will make Christmas great again... And Trump too...

Specialties you should really stop posting in topics that you know nothing about. Your post has nothing to do with Joseph's posts. Anthony Malcolm Daniels had nothing to do with the U.S.S.R. He is a writer and doctor .He pen name is Theodore Dalrymple. You are just like Trump a know it all that knows nothing.

Oh, and another thing, mr. enigma man,
In the Soviet Union, in addition to the methodical closing and destruction of churches, the charitable and social work formerly done by ecclesiastical authorities was taken over by the state. As with all private property, Church owned property was confiscated into public use. The few places of worship left to the Church were legally viewed as state property which the government permitted the church to use.

Protestant Christians in the USSR (Baptists, Pentecostals, Adventists etc.) in the period after the Second world war were compulsively sent to mental hospitals, or endured trials and imprisonment (often for refusal to enter military service). Some were even compulsively deprived of parental rights.[29]
Some s***hole, eh?? Go chase yourself!!! And take that s***hole dnc with you...

More muzak for bobkat with the lips that never smile...

When you think of the Republican Party, what comes to mind? Abolishing slavery? Ending segregation and other Jim Crow laws? Giving women the franchise? If you’re like many Americans, none of these landmark accomplishments came to mind. Instead, you may associate the GOP with racism, sexism, and general inequality. It’s an easy narrative for left-leaning media and academia to push, but the reality isn’t quite so convenient. Former Vanderbilt Professor of Political Science Carol Swain explains that the Republican Party was actually the party responsible for nearly every advancement for minorities and women in the history of the United States – and remains the champion of their equality to this day.
Some sinkhole of an enigma, eh, bobby??
