House telecom subcommittee chairman Marsha Blackburn received $84,000 from telecommunications companies in the 2016 election cycle alone.

On Tuesday, she and 264 other members of Congress, all Republicans, then voted to reverse a newly instituted FCC privacy rule that would allow internet service to sell previously private browsing data to the highest bidder.

Now one Tennessee mobile software engineer wants to prove just how disastrous the bill can be and highlight how data bought by ISPs can expose the private browsing histories—and lives—of any citizen.

Adam McElhaney wants to see Marsha Blackburn’s browsing history. And he’s trying to outbid ISPs to get it.

“She represents my state and I feel personally hurt she would sell us out for nearly $700,000,” said McElhaney, referring to Blackburn’s lifetime payout from the telecom industry.
The party of that preaches the value of individual freedoms sold us out. But Marsha got her 50 pieces....

Your ISP can track everything you do online, and then sell it. Thanks, Republicans.

And Obamacare allows private contractors access to data on EVERY FACET OF INDIVIDUALS' LIVES. Even stuff that they don't knowingly and willingly share on the Internet.

Thanks, Democrats!

And Obamacare
Proof? And we're not talking about that. Would Trumpcare have changed that, if true? Oh yeah, that bill failed. Trying to pass legislation that governs 1/6th of the economy in 60 days...

Anybody care to buy your search history?

Search History is public domain thinking otherwise is silly. It's called the world wide web for a reason. If you want it private do not put it on the web.

Charlie Rose? Fired.

Roy Moore? The Republican Party of Alabama standing with him. Trump running and hiding behind Ivanka. Evangelical Christians? Siding with Moore. Trump trotting out Cabinet members to weasel around the issue.

Alabama apparently prefers a child molester to a Democrat. Conway? A vote for Doug Jones is a vote against lower taxes.

The family values party? Disgraced.

Check this winner out, he should have listened to ole Dave Vitter who kept his place, even after his madam hung herself...
In public, Wesley Goodman was an up-and-coming conservative who championed pro-family and anti-LGBT causes and aspired to someday run for Congress.

In private, he exchanged salacious texts and emails with gay men he met on Capitol Hill, and sent sexually suggestive messages to young men he met through conservative circles who were too intimidated to publicly complain, according to three people who knew him when he worked in Washington.

Goodman's double life ended this week when he resigned from the Ohio legislature after House Speaker Cliff Rosenberger was alerted to Goodman's involvement in "inappropriate behavior" with a man in his state office in Columbus.

Ohio Rep. Wes Goodman resigns over 'inappropriate behavior'

The married, 33-year-old was elected to the 87th district seat in 2016 after working for the Conservative Action Project, a network of economic, social and national security conservatives. He previously worked for conservative U.S. Rep. Jim Jordan, a Champaign County Republican.
Another phony hypocrite preachy conservative who can't walk the walk...but always better than the evil Dems, so sayeth hannity, and his loyal parrots...

JIMD good article even though it is 4 years old. You get a good understanding by clicking on the Boston Globe article. I don't understand why you posted "Would the judge vote for Moore if he could" It was 7 judges that ruled. Maybe consent should be change to 18.

I was looking for a recent article about the MA legislation recently wanting to change MA laws concerning the age of consent, it's disturbing what our government wants to allow with minors. Typical liberal democrat immoral views, behavior and beliefs.

I'll try again....

JIMD you should do a little digging before you post . There are 50 states and 27 of them have the age of consent at age 16. Out of those 27 states are 19 red states. You need to stop painting with a broad brush. So I say those white conservatives in those 19 states need to stop thinking with that little head between their legs.

1) Roy Moore is a candidate, not an employee. He will be hired or not by his would-be employer next Tues.
2) They prefer a Republican to a Democrat. A backer of the POTUS they voted for 62-34. Not another vote to stop his agenda and even impeach him.
3) Trump isn't hiding, be criticized for not hiding in fact.
4) Troubling tidbit. Sexual predators don't just stop being sexual predators. Yet this alleged one apparently did? Odd?

specialties. yes he look like a leader of a White Separatist group. In case you forgot what that means

a person who supports the separation of a particular group of people from a larger body on the basis of ethnicity, religion, or gender.

Here is a good tweet from one of Trump's followers.

@SteveKingIA
Diversity is not our strength. Hungarian Prime Minister Victor Orban, “Mixing cultures will not lead to a higher quality of life but a lower one.”

Also John McCain a true American Hero had this to say about Victor Orban. Called him a Neo -fascist.

What a load of sophistry
Republicans have been preaching for years that character counts. Yet, it's the dems pressuring Conyers and Franken out, while the conservatives say, yeah, he might be a perv, the accusers are probably telling the truth, but we need the votes.

They are all over the map on this. Trumps paid flacks and his own daughter are contradicting Trump.

Character? Seriously?

Aside from the allegations, Moore doesn't want Muslims serving in Congress or the military, and apparently was under the impression that Illinois was under Sharia law.

And the guy who led the parade of ousters from the congress for sexual misconduct? Bob Packwood, a Republican.

Did he use his position of power on women .Yes he did but like I said before Paula Jones was the only one to take him to court but her dumb lawyers settled . So when did this rape happen. Yes I did vote for Bill Clinton twice 1992 and 1996. If I had known what he had been accused of . I would have stayed home and not voted.
