do any of you know for a fact that the DPW Superintendent is not evaluated? that was a question asked by Dr. Borstel at the CRC's last meeting, b/c Steve Robbins intimated that it was so.

Eric, I guess I am supposed to read between the lines and figure out somehow what you are talking about and how not submitting your petition now would hurt the taxpayer/voters. How and why is that?

Re: Robbins supports dissolution of BPW

I object strongly to Steve Robbins showing up at the CRC meeting last Thursday for his 15+ minutes of input when on Monday night at the DPW Board meeting he said he would have no comment on whether he was for or against dissolving the Board until he heard more from the CRC on what the language of th...

Re: Zoning board approves Modera

I don't believe that Affordable 40B housing means Section 8 housing, if that is what is really bothering you Vlad. Affordable is 80% of median income in the town. Right now, a 1 bedroom affordable at Modera or whatever they will call it, is $1, 276. That's a lot of money to rent an apartment!

Of course I don't know all about septic systems. but I do know about nitrogen loading and not using lawn fertilizer. Marshfield is not anywhere near its limit on affordable housing. Not even close. This project, however, will take us pretty near the goal set by the State. Then there is a 2 year moratorium on how much more affordable housing can be built. Affordable housing is not low cost. The guidelines are 80% o...

Terrible town meeting. Poorly led. Awful outcome on the marijuana pot shops. 99 people who jammed the hall and then left after the vote was taken! Can't believe we as a town have voted not to ban the sale of recreational mj, unlike the hundreds of other towns and municipalities that have.
